Hi, I’m Nikki, a Web Designer and Developer from Woolwich, South East London.
I have over 10 years of experience working in politics and member-led organisations publishing print and digital communications. Since 2017 I have been working in the creative space, I started making and selling my own artwork and jewellery and then later focused on providing support and events for local creatives.
After realising that I most enjoyed learning about different ways to improve small business practises by empowering them with better digital products, I decided to take the leap and pursue formal education. And in October 2023 I graduated with a Masters Degree in Web Design and Content Planning from the University of Greenwich.
In my spare time, I spend way too much time watching YouTube videos. But when I need to go outside I like nothing more than visiting handmade markets and indie shops, adding to my collection of miniature handmade pottery and Risograph printed zines.

A little bit more about me
Find out a little bit more about me and my interests outside of my Web Design and Development freelancing…

Clocktower
This is the first time I sold my artwork. This was the Clocktower Market near the old Greenwich Town Hall. It wasn’t a great day in terms of sales but all of the other sellers were so friendly and gave me lots of helpful advice. I try to pass on this tradition of solidarity amongst small businesses.

Selling Online
When I first starting selling my artwork online I was living in a dingy flat and I struggled to take good pictures. So one day during my lunchbreak at I took my work to the office sun terrace. I realised that natural light really makes your product pictures stand out.

RAFM
During the pandemic I really enjoyed selling my handmade jewellery and artwork at the Royal Arsenal Farmers Market (RAFM) in Woolwich. This is a rare photo of me, I took this picture because I had just bought this hairband from another seller.

Buying Local!
I moved to my house in Woolwich late 2019. Here I am enjoying finally having my own garden, drinking out of a handmade coffee mug bought from a seller at RAFM. I have treated myself to something from her collection on my birthday every year since.
